I made it!!! The West Coast!!!
Victory is always sweet. Even when you set deep in the cheap seat!!!

The Road...

I was about to go over a snow covered pass in the Cascade Mountains when a terrifying site came into view. After locking my jeep into 4 wheel drive, I looked up to see a car fishtailing around the snow covered curve and headed down hill haulin ass. Slamming the jeep into gear and getting out of the way, I had time to look over and see the car pass two feet from me. It was a 90 year old grandma, she regained control of her Cadillac with finesse and keep on keepin on. Holy shit I thought, that was close. She came around that curve like Bo and Luke Duke. I wonder if that scared her as much as it scared me? Hell, maybe she was in control the whole time! The way it looked she was!

Hoover Dam...

I didn't stay at the dam long, I had been there before and took the Dam Tour. The water in lake Mead is low low, what will Las Vegas do when the waters all gone? They had connected the two parts of the new bridge since I was there last. Hoover Dam truly is a accomplishment of the American working man. Its huge (that's what she said) anyways. I snapped a few photos and drove off.

Palm Desert...

Rosco and Woodward, I found her at last!!!

Me mates, I have found her at last. She awaits us sleeping in the harbor of San Diego. It looks as thought she has been abandoned by her crew. She's a 179 foot fully rigged, 24 gun 18th century Royal Navy frigate, and my friends she's a beauty. Christened the H.M.S Rose she now goes by the H.M.S Surprise. Look me up when ya hit the mainland, and we'll set full sails...

She's perfect, I just wish she had more guns!!!
